  • I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Additionally, I hold degrees in Medical Science and Health Management, as well as certifications in Brain Health Coaching and Equine-assisted Psychotherapy.

    Having both a mental health and medical background, I specialized early in seeing patients with mood disorders due to chronic illness. My own cancer diagnosis helped me to relate and motivates me to learn more and more about holistic health. Over the years I developed an integrative model that I now enjoy sharing with any client wanting to gain more control of their well-being.

  • While I am a licensed mental health counselor, the services I offer in my health and wellness coaching role are not therapy. Therapy is designed to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, explore past experiences, and work through deep emotional wounds. In contrast, coaching is future-focused and goal-oriented, it helps clients enhance their well-being, build resilience, and create meaningful lifestyle changes without requiring a mental health diagnosis. As a coach, I provide a flexible and integrative approach while upholding professional ethics, including confidentiality and my responsibilities as a mandated reporter. Unlike therapy, coaching allows me to work with clients anywhere in the world, making it an accessible and empowering option for those looking to improve their health and quality of life.
